A position of “Chaire de Professeur Junior” will be open at the Laboratoire de Mathématiques Blaise Pascal (Université Clermont Auvergne) for next year (with applications open until the end of May/June, a recruitment committee in September, and beginning of the contract in November). The priority theme will be “Algebra and Representation theory”, but any high-level application on related themes that can integrate harmoniously into the laboratory (in particular in topology, number theory, group theory, noncommutative harmonic analysis) will be studied with the greatest attention.
The Junior Professor will have a 5 year contract with a teaching service obligation on an annual basis of 64 hours. It aims to allow the candidate, after an evaluation of their scientific value and professional aptitude, to access a permanent position as university professor at UCA. Funding will be provided for the recruitment of a postdoctoral researcher (for 3 years) and travel, conference organization or purchase of material.
