We have a postdoc position at Charles University in Prague funded by the project Homological and model-theoretic methods in algebra and geometry awarded by the Czech Science Foundation: https://www.mathjobs.org/jobs/list/28001
- The expected duration of the position: September 1, 2026 - August 31, 2028, but the precise starting and ending dates are negotiable.
- Salary: 720 000 CZK per annum.
- There are no teaching duties and knowledge of Czech language is not necessary.
Due to restrictions of the grant agency, applicants must have received their Ph.D. within the last 8 years excluding maternity and parental leave, and sick leave in the case of a long-term illness.
Applicants should have working knowledge of homological algebra, and preferably experience with derived categories. Applicants with experience in the theory of ring spectra and model-theoretic methods are also welcome to apply.
