  • one position is in the area of Geometry, considered in a broad sense, including algebraic, arithmetic, differential, complex analytic geometry, geometric representation theory, topology, dynamical systems, etc. You may find the description of the research directions of the geometry group at Geometry - Research

  • one position is in the area of Algebra, considered in a broad sense, including Lie theory, representation theory, algebraic combinatorics, number theory, etc. You may find the description of the research directions of the algebra group at Algebra - Research

The application deadlines are June 9, 2025 (1 pm CEST).

The official announcements are available at

Each position runs for six years, with a relatively light teaching load during the initial period (further details are available in the call).

A tenure review is scheduled at the end of the six years. Provided that the Italian Scientific Qualification (Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale — ASN | Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale) is obtained before the review, the candidate is expected to be promoted to a permanent associate professorship.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. For official inquiries, please refer to the appropriate channels of the University of Pisa.

Best Regards,

Francesco
