Two tenure-track assistant professor positions (Ricercatore a tempo determinato in Tenure Track) are currently open at the Department of Mathematics, University of Pisa:

one position is in the area of Geometry, considered in a broad sense, including algebraic, arithmetic, differential, complex analytic geometry, geometric representation theory, topology, dynamical systems, etc. You may find the description of the research directions of the geometry group at Geometry - Research

Geometry: Bandi e concorsi - Università di Pisa
Each position runs for six years, with a relatively light teaching load during the initial period (further details are available in the call).
A tenure review is scheduled at the end of the six years. Provided that the Italian Scientific Qualification (Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale — ASN | Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale) is obtained before the review, the candidate is expected to be promoted to a permanent associate professorship.
